What is *INK?
*INK is Dunedin’s only free weekly information guide and is the absolute bible for what is happening in Dunedin. It covers everything happening in town from music, theatre, film, art & design exhibitions to community events and more!
Where can I find *INK?
*INK is distributed to over 200 locations on North, Central and South Dunedin. Copies can be found in bars, cafes, restaurants, galleries, backpackers, book shops, music shops and many other stores. We also distribute copies around the campuses of Otago University, Polytechnic, College of Education and the student quarter. *INK can also be found on our website with links and updates through our social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook.
Most importantly *INK can be found hanging out of the back pockets of our readers!
Who reads *INK?
We have a loyal following among active and outgoing people. These include locals, musicians, artists, tourists, students and anyone who wants to go out on the town.
What will I find in *INK?
You can expect to find a range of listing covering events and gigs in Dunedin. You will also find press releases, interviews and reviews on these events and local artists. We print art work such as paintings, drawings, illustrations, graphic art, photos, letters, prose and poetry by local artists. We also print classifieds and personal messages and letters.
How do I read *INK?
We print *INK on A3 paper and fold it down to A6 size – making it a multi-page booklet. Our front and back covers get maximum exposure while folding the booklet open to get to the gig guide takes you past our inside pages and our readers page.
How do we make *INK?
*INK is designed and printed locally using professionally offset printers to guarantee a quality reproduction. We print each issue of *INK in a single process colour that changes every issue.
